LaStacia Ross, BSW, holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from PSU, and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Dance from Washburn University in 1991. She currently teaches belly dance fusion, sound meditation, Reiki and other energy healing techniques at Eclectic Soul Studio in Pittsburg, Ks.
Having studied metaphysics for 30 years, she is a clairsentient medium, certified in Tuning Fork Therapy as well as Medical Intuition, Quantum Hypnosis Healing, and is a Reiki Master and teacher. She plays percussion, dances, and serves as Artistic Director in the band Amanita. She also performs poi (fire dancing).
LaStacia has been a maker and seller of incense for 20 years at Dryad Incense, and co-founded a local paranormal investigation group, MoonWise Paranormal. She has been a member of the women’s spiritual organization, The Daughters of the Sacred Grail since 2005.
Having served on the SEK Humane Society Board from 1998-2002, she continues to volunteer at various Humane Society fundraisers. She founded and organized Art For Earth, an annual Earth Day event in Pittsburg, Ks from 1999-2005, and co-founded the Pittsburg Artwalk in 2006. As an Arts Explorers board member, she taught rhythm workshops to individuals with disabilities from 2006-2009.
LaStacia served on the initial committee formed to save the old Colonial Fox Theatre downtown in 2006, and performed in the Pittsburg Community Theatre production of Pippin in 2007. She organized a women’s march in Pittsburg in 2012, and also attended the national women’s march in Washington DC in 2017.
With a passion for animal welfare, she has been a vegetarian for 28 years and operates a small wooded homestead, Twisted Hair Woods, caring for cats, dogs, chickens, and bees, along with her mate, Zach.
