Tim Chicoine began his musical journey at a young age playing piano and guitar. He played saxophone in junior high and high school. Through college, he sang in an acapella choir while he worked on a Bachelor degree in Psychology and Nursing. Tim currently works as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator. After completing college, he took lessons in Violin and played in Ozark Festival Orchestra for several years. After the Joplin tornado, he joined in local drum circles and began playing Djembe and made a few African hand drums. Since that time, he has learned to play Didgeridoo, and Native American flutes. He also plays other types of drums with “Amanita”. Hobbies also include flying a Powered Parachute and bicycling.
